Hi, I'm Tracey

I understand what it’s like to watch your children go through the process of what career choices they have. Which is why I’ve used my skills in leadership development and my background as a career and executive coach to help you get the information you need to make the right career choices.

Where schools throw lots of information at their students about careers and expect them to make a decision, I help you get to know who you are first. Because when you know who you are you can work out who you want to be.

I know that many students and their parents feel overwhelmed by the choices in front of them. At Career Matters I help you get a clear plan for your future career, and confidently step out on that path.

Hi, I'm Tracey Beard

I really appreciated Tracey’s expertise when she worked with my 17 year old son recently.

Through this process, I saw the anticipation and excitement building in my son as Tracey touched on more and more interest areas that are part of who he is!

He began to imagine himself in these roles and he now knows he has a bright and rewarding future ahead of him. A career that will make him happy, makes me happy too!

When our young adults succeed, we all succeed.

Many young people and their parents feel overloaded with the need to make decisions about their career and study options. Schools give so much information, trying to help, but often just end up confusing them. And then after university they need to navigate how to successfully apply for jobs.

If you're the parent, you want to be the best support crew for your child’s future career path. If you're the student you want someone to make sense of to the information and emotional overload.

What you're looking for is clear career guidance. Facts you can use to make your decision. So you can negotiate the complexities of tertiary study options and the huge range of career paths available.

The problem is you don’t feel you have the right information, skills or perspective to offer your child (and get real, do they ever listen to their parents?!) All this makes you feel overwhelmed with the enormity of the decisions that lie ahead. You freeze at the information-overload, and calm goes out the window.

It shouldn’t be this hard to get clear support and information you need to be confident in making decisions for your future career.

I understand what it’s like to watch your children go through this process, which is why I’ve used my skills in leadership development and my background as a career and executive coach to help you get the information you need for your children.

Here’s how I help you become the best support crew for your child as they get ready to fly your nest. Schedule a free discovery call and we can talk about how career coaching can help you support your child, and help them feel confident in their choices. When you book a full coaching session I’ll send your child a career questionnaire. And you’ll walk away with an action plan that will have you both feeling confident and motivated about their future career path options. A one-off appointment may be enough to clear the confusion, or we can book a more sessions depending on how confident you’re feeling.

The world of work has changed. Get the best advice on how to negotiate these changes. Book your session. So you can stop feeling overwhelmed by the career maze in front of you all and instead feel relieved that your child is happy, engaged and on the right path to career fulfilment.

Because when our young adults succeed, we all succeed.
